Credit Scoring
Our UK reports and services are available either with our predictive alphanumeric credit rating, or with the empirically derived credit score, Augur, developed in partnership with FICO (Fair Isaac). Whichever you choose is purely down to personal or professional preference.
Augur Score
Augur, developed by FICO (Fair Isaac) and Graydon, predicts in terms of odds the likelihood of a business experiencing 'financial stress' in the next 12 months. It gives you a very granular approach to risk.
Scores range from 0 to 600, enabling you to reserve manual reviews for accounts in the middle range, and automate decisions for high and low risk accounts.
The scoring models are robust and well tested: in fact they are used by major financial institutions worldwide. What's more, different models give you an accurate picture of risk whatever type or size of business you are assessing.
Augur Commentary
Commentary included with Augur compares businesses across our whole business database in various sectors. It enables you to see what percentage of companies is above or below a particular score, allowing you to set appropriate cut-off scores and credit policies.

Augur Full Report
A comprehensive credit report (similar to Level 3) including: Augur score and analysis, credit recommendations, company identification details, full legal information, details of Shareholders and Directors, 4 years of profit and loss & balance sheet data. Click here to see sample report
Retrospective Analysis
Using details of businesses which have defaulted, retrospective analysis can be carried out on a ledger, establishing optimum score thresholds and providing a portfolio 'health-check'. Using the value of the defaults the analysis demonstrates how much credit we recommend for businesses within your ledger.
