How does it work?
As the result of your online search, depending on the match achieved, you'll receive one of the following:
Individual report
An exact match with the individual and address you are searching on. A CallScore is provided.
Surname report
Where only the surname you've searched on is matched and found on the Electoral roll at the current address. No CallScore is provided.
Address report
Where the individual is not confirmed on the Electoral Roll at the current or previous address, but other non-surname related individuals are confirmed at the current address. No CallScore is provided.
The Science
The score within the report utilises Fair Isaac scorecards. Fair Isaac are known as the leading experts in credit scoring technology. The score helps you to make faster, more consistent and more profitable credit decisions by rank-ordering consumers according to their relative risk of credit default.
The consumer credit report contains all the essential data that you need to perform a consumer credit check:
e.g. Electoral Roll data, details of CCJs, bankruptcies, other critical information and credit activity. This information enables you to confirm your applicant's residence, see if they have recently been credit active, or if they have been trying to borrow from other sources lately. In some cases it may help you to discover any aliases used to obtain credit.
